Security systems were designed to monitor. Telecommunications systems were designed to connect. Both were evaluated primarily on cost and reliability. But that model is changing.

Today, security and communications systems are evolving into data-rich, intelligent platforms that directly influence user experience, operational efficiency, and long-term cost. And as with AV, the divide between legacy and modern approaches is becoming increasingly visible.
